The Open Championship, the final Major of the season, is set to tee off early Thursday morning US at Royal Troon in Scotland. 158 of the world's top golfers have gathered at the historic links course in hopes of lifting the famous Claret Jug.

Scottie Scheffler, the current world number one, is the favorite to win the Open Championship according to the latest odds. The American has been in excellent form this season, winning four PGA Tour events, including the Masters Tournament.

Rory McIlroy, a four-time Major winner, is Scheffler's closest challenger. The Northern Irishman has a strong record at the Open Championship, having finished in the top five in each of the past three years.
